Keep your back as straight as possible. Good posture is key to preventing a sore, stiff back. Massage is fantastic to relieve back pain — use some natural oil for greater effect. Regular exercise helps loosen the muscles & joints and maintain body flexibility. This is important to prevent sudden cramps and lower back pain.

Did you know that you can do some of your back exercises and stretches in bed. It works for me and I am not so stiff and sore when I get up.

  3. Great article. I have been thinking about this and how its going to make an effect.

  4. Good postural habits and exercise are very good starts. I emphasize these things with almost all of my back pain patients. If the pain is chronic and still shows no improvement though, a good chiropractor can usually provide the needed relief.
