Does anyone have a bulging disk which caused a lot of pain? If so, did you get cortizone injections and if you did how much relief from pain did you get? What has been the best pain relief?

  1. That highly depends on two things…

    1. How much steroids you are being given

    2. How well the steroids reduce the inflamation around the disc.

  2. I once had a cortisone shot in my wrist. It was very painful. I have since discovered a drug free non-invasive way to reduce inflammation - I use this product for my back and my knees. Its called actipatch. Works like a charm, easy to use and a good value since it lasts so long.

yes I fell on a rug at work last year and I have 2 bulging disks and 2 tear disks in my back and yes I’ve been dealing with pain and I still have to work because of the workers comp I had total of 4 lower lumber injections and I got only minor relive from them and on the 7/12/10 I got the cortizone but I hate to say it but it hurt like hell the day that I got it and now 5 days later my back is still in pain so I hope that answer your question for you
